WM-Verabschiedung in Salzburg

Mit einer beeindruckenden Abschiedsperformance hat sich unser Nationalteam im Rollstuhltanzsport am 16. November 2025 im Sportunion Sportzentrum Mitte zur Para Dance Sport Weltmeisterschaft in Košice (Slowakei) verabschiedet.

Unter den Gästen befanden sich auch hochrangige Vertreter:innen aus Politik und Sport: Mag. Andrea Zarfl (Landessportdirektorin Land Salzburg) sowie Roland Prucher (Obmann des Salzburger Behindertensportverbands) überbrachten persönliche Glückwünsche und motivierende Worte.

Für Österreich gehen Sanja Vukasinovic und Eva-Maria Nussdorfer gemeinsam mit Trainerin und Teamleaderin Kerstin Govekar an den Start. Die Weltmeisterschaft beginnt am 20. November 2025. Unsere beiden Athletinnen treten in der Disziplin Freestyle an, zusätzlich startet Eva-Maria Nussdorfer in der Kategorie Single Powerchair.

Zweimal Finale im Para Dance Sport bei den Polish Open

Herzlichen Glückwunsch 👏👍🧑‍🦽🇦🇹 an Sanja Vukasinovic zu zwei Finalplätzen: 5. Platz im Freestyle und 6. Platz im Single Women. 100 Athletinnen und Athleten aus 21 Nationen reisten aus Europa und Asien zu den 2021 Lomianki PDS Polish Open nach Warschau. Die Salzburger Nattionalteam-Sportlerin Sanja Vukasinovic (WheelChairDancers Salzburg) kämpfte sich in beiden Disziplinen in einem starken Feld von 21 Damen aus 11 Nationen ins Finale unter die Top 6. Erfolgreiches Trainingscamp absolviert

Zwei Tage lang wurde gedreht, gekippt, Emotionen gezeigt, an technischen Details gefeilt....und das alles nach Musik und im Takt - nix Neues für die Sportler*innen des Austrian Para Dance Sport Teams. Im Salzburger Sportunion Sportzentrum-Mitte trainierten die 10 besten Rollstuhltanzsportler*innen Österreichs mit Bundestrainer Diethard Govekar und ÖBSV-Fachreferentin Kerstin Govekar für die bevorstehenden Wettkämpfe der Saison 2020.

Mit dabei auch Nationalteam-Sportlerin Sabrina Gostner, WM-Elfte aus dem Vorjahr. Für sie gehts schon zu Ostern zu ihrem Debüt im Single Women Freestyle nach Holland, gemeinsam mit ihrer Trainerin und Choreografin Kerstin Govekar.








Sabine Engleder, neu im Kader, hat noch 4 Wochen mehr Zeit, eh sie ihr Debüt im Single Women in der IPC-High-Level-Class beim Wettkampf in Italien geben wird.

Alle anderen werden Mitte Mai wieder auf große Fahrt zum Mainhattencup nach Frankfurt am Main gehen, da wird auch der Kader-Newcomer Markus Madl sein Single-Men-Debüt in der High-Level-Class geben.

am 13.05.2020 gibts die Frühjahrsshow der WheelChairDancers Salzburg in der GWS.

Coole Showeinlage bei Hochzeitsmesse in Osttirol

Unsere Kärnter Rollstuhltänzer*innen Jürgen Grabner und Sabine David vom 1. Kärntner Rollstuhltanzsverein haben das Jahr 2020 mal etwas anders eröffnet. Sie waren am 26.01.2020 live dabei auf der Hochzeitsmesse der Wirtschaftskammer in Lienz. Neben der Darbietung lateinamerikanischer Tänze durften sie natürlich auch die Hochzeitsmode präsentieren.  Eingekleidet wurde Jürgen vom Ausstatter Horst Special in Klagenfurt und Sabine vom Brautsalon Klagenfurt (Inhaberin Sabine Türk-Kritzler). Und mit einem Live-Gesangsauftritt der Sängerin Baghira war der Showact dann perfekt.

Besinnliche Feiertage und alles Gute für 2020 wünscht das Para Dance Sport Team Austria!

Unter den Top Ten der Welt! Tolles Jahresendergebnis für Sanja Vukasinovic und Sabrina Gostner - die Weltranglisten vom IPC World Para Dance Sport sind online! Unsere Damen beenden das Jahr 2019 im Single Women von 48 Damen mit Platz 6 für Sanja und Platz 7 für Sabrina. Im Single Freestyle belegt Sanja von 34 Damen Platz 5. Wir gratulieren ganz herzlich
